Shirley Local History Club

Set in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales Shirley village has been in existence since Saxon times and has many interesting buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, including the well renowned pub The Saracens Head.
St Michaels Church, a centrepiece of the village since the 14th century, retains its medieval features but also boasts modern technology worthy of the 21st century.
Tours are available for clubs, schools, any interested organisations and private groups.
