Community Space

Located within the Parish Church, it is the ideal place to hold a meeting or activity for small informal groups or larger parties (up to 30 people can be accommodated).

The Community Space has comfortable seating and tables (if required), modern audio-visual equipment, tea and coffee making facilities and a toilet with baby changing area that is accessible for persons of reduced mobility.

Use of the Community Space is free of charge to anyone who lives within the Parish of Shirley. This is kindly funded by the Shirley Parish Council.

There is a small hire charge for anyone living outside the Parish, which is dependent upon the facilities required.

If you wish to make a booking or an enquiry about using the Community Space, please contact John Fletcher on 01335 360645 or if he is unavailable please contact the United Benefice Office in Brailsford on 01335 361239.

Please note: The premises are fitted with CCTV to comply with safeguarding requirements for children and vulnerable adults, for your own protection and to deter theft and acts of vandalism or malicious damage. However, access to view recorded footage will only occur if there is a suspected incident or a complaint is received and the Clergy strictly control all viewing access.
